Kia ora, I'm Haylee
Becoming a mum changed everything. My time, my priorities, my sense of self. I adore my toddler, but those early days of exhaustion? I remember them vividly. Longing for just a little breathing room.
It took courage to admit I needed help, and even more to be okay with paying for it and letting someone into our home. But when I finally did, everything shifted. I found incredible carers through a local Facebook group and suddenly had space, not just to survive, but to actually enjoy motherhood and remember who I was before.
A coffee alone. An hour of focus. A deep breath. Those small pockets of freedom made me a better, more present parent.
That's why I built NOD. Because parenting isn't about doing it all alone.
